President's Advisory Council
Core Purpose
Preamble
Mater Dei High School strives to create an educational environment based on Gospel values, which recognizes the needs and differences in individuals and empowers students to meet the demands and challenges of a rapidly changing and morally complex world. Mater Dei is built on the cornerstones of spiritual growth, academic excellence, service to others, and social development.
Contributing to the Mission of Mater Dei High School and the goals of the Bishop of the Diocese of Evansville, the President's Council operates as an advisory council. The President's Council collaborates with the Coordinating Council for the Evansville Catholic High Schools ("Coordinating Council"), established by the Bishop, particularly in matters of the high school assessment, the establishment of common salary ranges for faculty and staff, and tuition and fee levels for the two high schools (i.e. Mater Dei High School and Reitz Memorial High School).
