The Mater Dei High School Boys Varsity Football Team has been a cornerstone of Evansville athletics for decades. Known for hard work, discipline, and a winning tradition, the Wildcats continue to make their mark on Indiana high school football.
From Friday night lights at the historic Reitz Bowl to postseason playoff runs, Mater Dei football brings together students, alumni, families, and the entire West Side Evansville community.
About Mater Dei Football
The program is built on teamwork, dedication, and faith-based values that extend beyond the field. Players are developed not only as athletes but also as leaders, scholars, and men of character. The wildcats are a part of the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference (SIAC).
